Switchwords

Short-cut your words to manifest what you want.
Cell biologist, Dr. Bruce Lipton and Scientist said; “When I understood what was creating my life, my subconscious did not change just because my conscious mind had a new idea, I still had the same old program so my life stayed the same. My conscious mind was now educated but my subconscious had the same program, so I realized; Oh, my goodness I am talking a story but I’m not walking a story and I said Oh, I can’t give this lecture anymore until I make my life conform to the story. You must use a special process to teach the subconscious mind.”
The digestive tract every three days, the entire lining of cells, the lining itself, like a trillion cells are replaced every three days.
A scientific fact – less than 1% of disease is caused by genes. Mind and consciousness is creating a world. The Universe is immaterial. It’s mental and spiritual. The new biology epigenetics is the mechanism by which the mind creates the physical reality.
The American Psychological Association published a research that said from 75-90% of visits to a doctor are because of stress. Nothing more than that.
95 % of the program of your life is coming from the subconscious mind.
There was healing in this world 3,000 years before medical school how did they heal then? Hands on healing and the like.
The first seven years theta imagination –theta is also hypnosis. So, self-hypnosis can be used by playing what you want as you go to bed and access theta. Another way of changing the subconscious is repetition – do or say something or repeated and repeated and at some point, it becomes a program in the subconscious. “Fake it till you make it.” Energy psychology;
By deliberately declaring, affirming, chanting, singing, writing, saying, or even just intentionally thinking what we want to achieve, your subconscious can then manifest the corresponding experience, condition, or desired result into your life.
But this is only able to be achieved, providing our EQ (emotional intelligence) believes, accepts or is persuaded of the possibilities of this being able to be manifested, and is not in direct conflict with another opposite belief.1
Hypnosis, Affirmations, Meditations, Repetitions, Visualisation, and the Energy psychologies are just some of the ways to reprogram your subconscious. What about SwitchWords?
The difference between Switchwording and affirmations lies in the part of the brain that they’re designed to address. Switchwords work through sound and feel, which creates a vibration that speaks to the unconscious mind; affirmations work through semantics, or the words’ meanings, which has a direct appeal to the conscious mind. Affirmations use words that exactly match our purpose (‘I am strong, I am successful’), whereas Switchwords reach behind the conscious brain to get to the part that affirmations do not reach. Does our unconscious mind truly believe ‘I am strong, I am successful’ yet? Often, there’s a part of us that’s decrying the affirmation – the cynical ‘Oh yeah’ voice within that’s yet to be convinced that we could be anything other than we are. Also, there’s a scientific reason why our positive, conscious affirmations often don’t get through. They’re not a threat to our survival, so the brain doesn’t need to respond as rapidly as it does to negative thoughts and words.’ The part of the brain that responds to threats to our survival (‘fight or flight’ mode, as it is known) is the amygdala, which plays a role in the unconscious memory. Perhaps the amygdala, the old, reptilian part of the brain, is involved in the response to Switchwords, resulting in a decrease in or deletion of negative memories that can drive our actions and decisions. If we try to manifest what we want in life when old memories and beliefs oppose our conscious willingness, it’s likely that our wishes won’t produce results. Switchwords align us so that we can move it past the conscious mind without the ‘Yes-But’ analyzing.
Switchwords are somewhat similar to traditional affirmations and mantras, however a ‘switchword’ consists of a single word that has shown to work to manifest a particular manifestation or desire rather than using a string of many words. Sounds like a tall order?
The original source of switchwords came from James T. Mangan (1896-1970) He researched what he called “switchwords” over a period of 45-50 years, and published his findings in a book, “The Secret of Perfect Living”. Mangan wrote that in his own mind-science studies he concentrated on discovering a practical method of uniting the conscious mind and the subconscious and found a technique through which such a union could be achieved. His technique calls for three easily adopted attitudes and the use of switchwords, a means by which the conscious mind can “talk to” and direct the thought patterns of the subconscious.
* Put your attention on what you want to happen.
* Throw the ‘Switch’ by declaring the appropriate switchword. (*sing, chant, think this over and over to manifest faster)
* Then let go and trust your subconscious to produce the result. 2
The creative process involves three steps to attracting all your desires…
- Ask – You must know what you want. I mean, really know what you want. The universe can’t deliver without first knowing what it is that you want to have manifested into your life.
- Believe – You need to truly believe that what you are asking for will become yours. Doubts need to be pushed away. The idea that failure is a possibility that will mess up the delivery. (Note*If a doubt enters your mind, immediately use the switchword; ‘cancel’.)
- Receive – It is important that you become an active player in reaching your goals. When opportunity comes your way, you must not hesitate.
Shunyam Nirav discovered and bought a copy of the book in 1975 and experimented with the switchwords in what he says were hundreds of life situations over 30+ years and observed that switchwords do indeed produce their intended results. He decided to reprint the book with his own observations so that Mangan’s work did not fall into oblivion. He wrote; “Wouldn’t it be great to have a magic wand that you could just wave at any situation or creative project, and have it turn out beneficially just as you wish? We all have such a wand! However most of us have not been aware of it and have never received an instruction manual for its use. Your word is your wand – One-word “Switchwords” that are each the essence of a life experience or desired result. Declare, affirm, chant, sing, or even just mentally “Intend” the switchword, and like turning on an electric lamp with a switch, the desired result reliably appears! 3
“How to Use One Word to get what you want” by Liz Dean is another book where you can have a preview look online at book stores.
Dean also suggests why Switchwords succeed where affirmations can fail, saying that it is because they reach the part of the brain that they’re designed to address. Switchwords work through sound and feel, which creates a vibration that speaks to the unconscious mind, whereas affirmations work through semantics, or the words’ literal meanings, which has a direct appeal to the conscious mind. 4
Vibrations – Yogi, mystic and visionary, Sadhguru is a spiritual master with a difference. An arresting blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work, serve as a reminder that yoga is a contemporary science, vitally relevant to our times. Sadhguru explains how Aum is the universal sound and is not religious in nature. He explains how it is found across the world in various traditions – including Christianity and Islam. If you remove your tongue, you’re able to make only three sounds. Aaa, ooo, mmm. You’re using the tongue, placing the tongue indifferent positions in your palette, to mix these three sounds and produce all the other sounds that you produce. So Aum is the basic sound in the creation. When you chant the word Aum, it reverberates from just below the navel up to the tip of your nose and with this practice it has healed many ailments. If you want to learn the whole story it is very interesting and there is a right way to chant Aum if you want it to work for you. Links are shown below.5
At the end of this article there is a link for the full list of Mangan’s Switchwords with meanings of what each word is shown to manifest.
For example:
TOGETHER – The master switchword for a life of heaven on earth and mastery of any task at hand…
It would seem enough to just use this one word. But because it covers so many aspects involved to create this outcome, if you were desperate for money it would not take so long to produce by using just the ‘COUNT’ switchword.
REACH – to find anything you are lookingfor such as misplaced items or forgotten ideas or information in your mind or memory as well as solutions to problems.
COUNT – Whenever you want to make money…
CANCEL – eliminating negativity or unwanted thought or condition…
BE and CHANGE – being in good health and at peace…
DIVINE – order…
FIND – Build a fortune…
CARE – memorise… remember… retain…
REACH – Locating misplaced object… reachsolutions for problems… repair things… forgotten ideas… information that is in your mind but not available to you consciously.6
There is a fundamental law of attraction in the Universe that guides people’s lives and is the underlying power behind all things. The law is simply like attracts like both good and bad. This law was expressed by Napoleon Hill when he said; “We become what we think about.” In the second century of the Common Era, the Roman emperor and Stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius said; “Our life is what our thoughts make it.” and Mahatma Gandhi said; “We must become the change we want to see.”
A limited number of rules gives an arbitrarily large number of outcomes’ is suggestive of the ‘chaos theory’ also known as ‘the butterfly effect’, proposed by the American mathematician and meteorologist Edward Lorenz. The theory, in very simple terms, is that one subtle event in one part of the world can effect a greater change elsewhere. As a metaphor he explained that the energy generated by the subtle movement of a butterfly wing potentially results in a tornado on the other side of the world. As a mantra is action and intention, it activates the energy of the universe, which responds in kind, bringing to us an event, a realisation or an experience greater in energy than the energy of the original intention. A single word, repeated, may bring us much more than an echo of the word. It brings us a result that is a tangible expression of our desire. 7
Research – ‘Sacred’ Word Repetition May improve PTSD Symptoms, Insomnia –
Mindful repetition of a mantram, a sacred word, effectively reduces symptoms of combat-related post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and insomnia, results of a randomized controlled trial show.
Investigators compared mantram repetition to present-centered therapy in veterans with PTSD. Both interventions were offered weekly for a total of 8 weeks.
Although both groups experienced some improvement in PTSD symptoms and insomnia, those in the mantram group had significantly greater improvements in both PTSD and insomnia. Benefits continued to be present at 2-month follow-up. “For people who do not like other therapies, such as mindfulness or CBT, mantram is a good substitute,” lead author Jill E. Bornmann, PhD, RN Research scientist said. The mantram repetition program has been found to mitigate PTSD symptoms and other psychological distress and to improve quality of life in a variety of populations,” the authors state.
The program “teaches people to intentionally slow down thoughts and practice ‘one-pointed attention’ by silently repeating a personalized (self-selected) mantram, a word or phrase with spiritual meaning.”
Bornmann added, “A take-home message is to be open-minded and not judge this intervention before you have tried it for yourselves.” 8
I second that suggestion.
