How to lose weight is not always as simple as it appears it should be.  Research shows that weight loss from dieting as a rule of thumb does not work, statistics show that –

Take this analogy; There are two people in therapy – and only one of them is me.

Not so long ago, I got bitten by what I thought it was a mosquito, (where I normally have three days of itching and scratching before it stops bothering me) however, my foot and ankle started swelling and going red/purple in a matter of days.  It was cellulites.  I went to the doctor who put me on antibiotics – 5 day’s supply.  I went back because I had run out of medicine and nothing was changing.  I was put on another antibiotic for another 7 days, that didn’t work either.  I was then given a third strong antibiotic in the hope those would work.

What the doctor told me at the end of the first 5 days was that the antibiotic normally worked in most cases.  Obviously that was not the case this time, nor the second time.  After the third antibiotics my leg was still red, mauve and swollen and I went to the ambulatory section of the hospital to have intravenous antibiotics.  The specialist there thought I was getting over whatever it was and gave me a leg stocking, telling me that it would still be swollen for another two weeks and not to worry, unless it got worse.

So really, that is the answer for you and other clients – some people change in 1 session, for others it takes longer.

We think I was bitten by a white tipped spider when sitting on a wooden viewing platform watching my granddaughter horse eventing.
